A Brief Overview of the Louisville Top Docs Selection Process

A resident of Louisville, Kentucky, Dr. Christopher Chris C. Babcock, DMD, and MD, has been recognized by the medical and dental community for his work since 2002. Of his accomplishments, Christopher C. Babcock, MD, Louisville Magazine named him a Top Doc in May 2013.

Members of the Greater Louisville Medical Society, which number over 2,000, name area physicians to the Top Doc lists. The organization sends members surveys that ask them to pick the top internal medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics, gynecology, and family medicine in the Louisville area. They can list five physicians in the above categories and up to three physicians.

Next, the Society tallies the results. Once the results are in, the organization lists doctors in alphabetical order based on their category. The number of doctors in each category varies depending on the number of physicians nominated. While the list doesn’t rely on statistical data, physicians named to the Top Doc list receive more than one nomination.
